Artist Lisa Geiman

Lisa Geiman is a Virginia watercolor artist truly in love with her environment. Born in the Shenandoah Valley, she has lived there all of her life and resides on a 1794 colonial homestead with inspirations for her paintings only steps away. Ms. Geiman's paintings reflect the rural areas of America, depicted in her own distinctive style. She paints at an enormous energy level that flows into the painting creating sharp, expressive images. Ms. Geiman's paintings are quiet, yet vibrant with color! She carefully blends her own imagination with some visual fact to create countless memories of our unforgettable heritage.
The popularity of her work has spread rapidly throughout the United States. Her successful approach to watercolors creates a unique mood characteristic of her work. She contributes this success to the combination of utilizing her BS degree in merchandising from James Madison University with her talent for painting with watercolors.
